Rescue teams were called out twice to vehicles that had ended up in ditches. The first accident happened shortly before 5pm on the N12 between Rollingergrund and Bridel, the second shortly after midnight on the N14 between Graulinster and Beidweiler. One person was injured in each crash. On the N12, crews from Luxembourg City and Mamer attended the scene, while on the N14, colleagues from Junglinster and Larochette were called out.
For the Junglinster and Larochette teams, another call came in at around 7.10pm in Bourglinster, where a kitchen fire had broken out and one person was hurt.
