
According to the police report, the attempted theft took place around 3.40am on Tuesday night. The would-be thieves reportedly arrived in a Belgium-registered van at the victim's home. The owner of the motorbike quickly realised what the suspects were up to and rushed outside. The suspects then took off towards Belgium.
One of them wore 3/4 joggers and a hoodie. One of his accomplices also wore joggers, a hoodie, and a cap.
In an unrelated incident, witnesses alerted police to a cyclist zigzagging in Bech-Kleinmacher. A police patrol pulled over the cyclist, who was found to be intoxicated. The officers withdrew the man's license and issued a fine.
