DifferdangeDrunk driver causes two accidents in the same street

A motorist was stopped for drink-driving on Thursday afternoon after crashing twice in the same road in Differdange.

The incident took place around 5.30pm on avenue d'Oberkorn.

An inebriated motorist struck a stationary vehicle, before crashing again in the attempt to flee, just a few hundred metres down the road.

Police intercepted the woman and carried out a breathalyser test, which turned out to be positive.

The woman's licence was confiscated.

TWO LICENCE WITHDRAWALS OVERNIGHT

Police officers confiscated two further licences overnight, after stopping a driver at the Fridhaff roundabout in Diekirch. The breathalyser test was positive.

Another driver lost her licence after being stopped for erratic driving on route de Longwy in Merl.
