Biggest 'Buergbrennen' in Luxembourg?Fingig celebrates end of winter with 'Festival of Fire'

In the context of Esch-sur-Alzette's residency as 'European Capital of Culture', the municipality of Fingig decided to up their game for this year's 'Buergbrennen' with an entire festival of fire.

Instead of the traditional wooden crosses and castles that one can spot all across the Grand Duchy during the annual bonfire night, the municipality of Fingig built eight sculptures to celebrate this year’s end of winter.
