
At 9.15am on Sunday, a person was mugged on Rue Nicolas-Ernest Barble in the capital. The perpetrator had followed the victim from a bus stop and threatened them with a knife to get their phone. Nobody was injured and an investigation has been opened.
At 2.50pm, a drunk woman behaved aggressively towards police and was taken to the station to sober up.
Shortly after, a violent brawl between three individuals took place on Rue de Strasbourg in Luxembourg City. Since all three were intoxicated, officers took them to an arrest cell.
Another agitator later caused a ruckus on Rue Joseph Junck and was also brought to the station.
At 6.50pm, police were alerted to a hit-and-run in Remich. Officers were able to catch the responsible driver in Wormeldange and subjected him to an alcohol test, which came back positive. The driving license was revoked at the scene.
