The injured motorcyclist was taken care of by the Emergency Medical Services (SAMU) of Esch.
Another person was injured around 7 pm, after a car crashed into a tree between Larochette and Medernach.
Two other road accidents were reported, fortunately not injuring anyone. In the first accident, a motorcyclist crashed between Stolzembourg and Untereisenbach.
The last reported accident of the evening, shortly after 8 pm, involved a car crash on the road to Echternach near Dommeldange.
In addition, a fire broke out at around 10.45 pm in the bedroom of a house in Heinerscheid. The flames were quickly brought under control by the emergency services and no one was injured.
