MoutfortFour children injured after sudden wind gust hits bouncy castle

RTL Today
The incident took place at a private party in Moutfort on Sunday afternoon.

The wind that hit the bouncy castle seemingly came out of nowhere. Four children, aged 5 to 9, were thrown around and injured in the process. After receiving treatment at the scene, they were brought to a children's hospital.

Meteolux explained the sudden weather phenomenon as a dust devil, a short-lived whirlwind which normally poses no threat to humans or infrastructure. However, they can occasionally grow to be more powerful, which is problematic given that meteorological systems are not able to predict them.

According to preliminary analyses, the bouncy castle was secured properly at the time of the incident. The prosecutor's office has now been tasked with an in-depth enquiry into events.
