Fire fighters had to contend with two cases of burning cars on Saturday evening: the first car on Remich esplanade at 7.40pm, and the second in Bech-Kleinmacher on Rue de la Moselle at 9.45pm.

Police put out a call for witnesses on Sunday morning, and found out that a woman had seen the tyres of a delivery van burning in the Remich swimming pool car park. The car next to it was also damaged. It was also a delivery van that was then reported burning in Bech-Kleinmacher.

Any other witnesses are called to contact Remich Police (Tel: 244 77 1000).
