After a tumultuous exit from CSV, Frank Engel sets out to begin the new year with a clean slate. On Monday afternoon, the politician will present the identity of his new party together with colleague Marc Ruppert. They already revealed in earlier interviews that the new party intends to focus on civic values.
‘Fokus’ will be the name of the new party, and it is already known that its latest members include Gary Kneip, former president of the Trade Confederation and former DP member, as well as Luc Majerus, a lawyer who recently left his position on the Esch-sur-Alzette municipal council that he held for the Greens.
The first Fokus press conference with a presentation of both agenda and members is scheduled for 3.30 p.m. on Monday.
