Despite the delay, households will compensated for the lack of salary increase. Compensation measures include, among others, an energy tax credit to offset the loss of purchasing power, an increase in student grants and a rent freeze until the end of this year.
In addition, the Council agreed to put Patrick Michaely forward as the new director of the Natural History Museum. Michaely has held a role at the museum for almost 30 years, most recently serving as communications director.
