Minister of Foreign AffairsJean Asselborn travels to Ireland for two-day visit

RTL Today
The Minister of Foreign and European Affairs will travel to Dublin on Tuesday and, among other things, help formally inaugurate the first permanent embassy for Luxembourg in the Irish capital.

In autumn last year, then-Minister of Finance Pierre Gramegna made the announcement that Luxembourg’s Irish embassy, thus far integrated in the London embassy, would move to Ireland the following year. Ambassador Florence Ensch will therefore move to Dublin as soon as the new embassy is officially inaugurated.

While in Ireland, Minister Asselborn will also meet with his counterparts at the Foreign and European Ministries before travelling back to the Grand Duchy on Wednesday.
