Romain Becker and José Goncalves will be sworn in as aldermen.
The change in positions comes after a power struggle shook the municipality of Kayl towards the end of last year. The former coalition in power, made up of the Luxembourg Socialist Workers’ Party (LSAP) and the Greens, was brought to an end through a vote of no confidence.
Minister for Home Affairs Taina Bofferding will swear in the three local officials on Monday afternoon.
