Two further underground levels will be added to the existing car park, with work commencing on level -3 to allow for further levels below. First, however, the foundations must be strengthened. The City of Luxembourg authorities are in the process of renovating and modernising its car parks, having completed work on the updated Fort Neipperg car park.

As the car park is undergoing the upgrades to meet modern standards, drivers may find the system a little confusing, as cars are restricted to one ramp going down and up. However, traffic lights and additional signs have been installed to help motorists navigate the car park during the renovations.
