Luxembourgish airline Luxair has published an activity report for 2018, stating that the company has achieved excellent operational results despite "a difficult context".
The airline counted 2,1 million passengers in 2018, which represents an 11% increase in comparison to 2017.
Luxembourg Airport's handling agent Luxair Services assisted around 4 million customers in transit while Luxair catering service delivered approximately 2,3 million meals.
With 957,000 tonnes of cargo handled in 2018, Luxair-Cargo also broke the previous 2017 record of 938,000 tonnes.
Luxair Group boasts around 2,500 employees.
