Since its launch on 2 March this year the hotline, coordinated by the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), has reportedly handled over 72,000 calls.
From 15 June anyone with questions on the subject of covid-19 will instead have to call one of several numbers depending on the nature of their question. More information will be available on the government's covid-19 website, where you can also find extensive FAQs.
From us here at RTL Today, we'd like to extend a big thank you to everyone involved in running the hotline. We can only imagine it was a difficult and stressful job, but one which provided a great service to many of us.
