The Ministries of Health and Foreign Affairs have announced that the Covid-19 measures around air travel into Luxembourg will be extended once again.

Every individual over 12 years who wishes to enter Luxembourg must present a certificate before boarding the plane. Either the certificate shows that the traveler has been fully vaccinated with a European-certified vaccine, or a negative test result. Alternatively, the traveler can prove that they have fully recovered from a Covid-19 infection.

The test certificate can be in Luxembourgish, German, French, English, Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese.

For those entering Luxembourg from the UK, these sanitary measures are extended until 31 July due to an increase in Delta infections. Travellers from India will face an extension of the measure until 14 September.

Anyone that has been to the UK or India in the fourteen days prior to entering Luxembourg must present a negative Covid-19 test. In addition, passengers must take a first test immediately, and then quarantine for seven days upon arrival, with a mandatory test on the sixth day. Those who refuse to take either of the tests will undergo a quarantine of 14 days.

Travels from third countries continue to face a series of additional measures until 30 September, you can find further details here.
