As these videos and images show, the storms that moved across the country on Tuesday night already caused quite a stir in some regions.
According to the national weather service Météolux, Luxembourg may face a similar situation on Wednesday evening. Météolux has issued a countrywide yellow alert for “risk of moderate thunderstorms (possibility of small hail, heavy rain (15 to 25 l/m²) and gusts between 60 and 70 km/h)” from 9pm until 7am on Thursday.
