Meteolux has therefore placed the entire country under yellow storm alert. The warning has been in place since 5am and will remain so until at least 7pm tonight.
The Findel meteorological station announced that “potentially strong” storms and heavy rain are to be expected. 15 to 25 litres of water may accumulate per square metre, which may lead to disruptions in traffic. Wind gusts may reach speeds of up to 60 km/h.
