Non-profit organisation 'MemoShoah Luxemburg' has issued a press release to announce that while former president Jim Goerres stepped down from the administrative council, he will remain active in the organisation as a pedagogical advisor.

Mil Lorang has taken over as president after Goerres stepped down. On Saturday, the new administrative council of the non-profit organisation convened for a first time and set a ten-point agenda for future projects.

Among the proposed undertakings is a commemorative wall, which is to be engraved with the names of ‘Shoah’ victims from Luxembourg, including those who did not originally come from the Grand Duchy. MemoShoah further wants to continue raising awareness of the holocaust and the ways in which Jews have been persecuted all over Europe.
