Summer’s last album, Persistent Clouds and Frequent Showers, was a commercial failure, leaving fans of Summer’s biggest hit, Sunshine, disillusioned – questioning whether the artist could ever return to their former glory.
The first leg of the tour kicks off with a residual number, Downbeat, offering a freddo 5–7°C; but the tempo will soon rise to a toe-tapping 19–21°C with Afternoon. Evening maintains some of the tempo of Afternoon, with a mezzo 17–19°C.
The Sunshine Tour has been anticipated for quite some time, and it is expected that ice-cream and sunscreen sales will break long-standing records.
