The first alert for high water levels was issued at 4.00 a.m. on Sunday, with the Water Management Administration expecting levels of 5.30 metres in Stadtbredimus.

The Administration believes that the Moselle river reached its maximum level on Sunday afternoon. 5.50 metres were recorded in Stadtbredimus.

On Sunday morning, the Administration communicated that water levels were rising 2 centimetres per hour in Stadtbredimus. The rate recorded in Grevenmacher was 3 centimetres per hour.
