The driver was pulled over as part of a general operation checking road safety in the area. He was found to be in violation of an existing partial driving ban, and his car was neither taxed nor did it have a valid technical certificate.

During a search of the vehicle, officers found the remains of a joint, followed by other drugs including small quantities of cocaine, ketamine, and 15 ecstasy pill, as well as a bag of marijuana. They also found cash and tools to prepare for drug ingestion.

The driver failed a drugs test, resulting in his arrest. He was issued with a fresh driving ban and brought before an investigating judge on Wednesday morning.
