Hinzerter KräizNational Day of Resistance commemorated on Sunday
On Sunday, Luxembourg marked the National Day of Resistance with two commemorative ceremonies to remember those who fought in the resistance during World War II.
On 25 February 1944, 23 Luxembourgers were executed in a concentration camp in Hinzert.
Commemorative services were held in front of the ‘Hinzerter Kräiz’ memorial and outside of the Glacis chapel.
