The average speed camera, of which drivers are warned by road signs, will monitor cars going both directions over a 4 km distance. 90 km/h is the official limit for cars and bikes, 75 km/h for lorries and heavy vehicles.
Police will begin handing out tickets to speed violators from 15 June on.
