Health CareNew MRI arrived at Centre Hospitalier du Nord

RTL Today
The new MRI machine will be ready for use at the hospital in Ettelbruck as of 7 September.

The machine was transported by convoy from the Netherlands and arrived in Ettelbruck on Monday morning. A crane was then used to place the machine in the hospital's courtyard. An operation which the hospital described in a statement as having been "meticulously prepared and carried out under strict measures of security and precaution".

A first test run of the MRI will take place in August. It is expected that this model will help speed up medical examinations by 50%.
Noise has been reduced to a minimum in order to make treatment as comfortable as possible. This model also allows the patient to choose soothing images and sounds according to his own liking. Sustainability has also been taken into account as the Philips MR Ingenia Ambition 1.5 T does not use any helium.
