Two motorists, one on the A6 and another on the A3, were seen driving erratically and had to undergo a breathalyser test on the spot as a result. It turned out they had both been drinking.

Alcohol checks were carried out in Buderscheid, Heiderscheid and Ettelbruck. A total of 229 alcohol checks were carried out, twelve of which came back positive. Four out of the twelve motorists found to be over the legal limit had to hand over their driving licenses.

A police patrol on the Glacis, who were busy attending to an accident, noticed a visibly drunk individual trying to open a car that wasn't theirs, and then call a taxi. However, shortly thereafter, the police saw the same man driving on in the Glacis car park, so they stopped him for a breathalyser test. Obviously, the latter came back positive, so the man was taken to the police station for another test. He acted aggressively towards the police and ended up being arrested for his drunk and disorderly conduct.

On the A6 around Bertrange, a motorist drove hit another vehicle around 11.00 pm on Friday evening. The driver in question had been drinking and was handed a driving ban as a consequence.

Another accident occurred shortly after 1 am in Leudelange, again a two-car collision. Both vehicles skidded onto a field, and both vehicles were totalled. Again, the driver in question was over the legal alcohol limit and had to hand over his license.
