The jury, presided over by Hugues Delcourt of Delcourt, Kim & Associates, has combed through 133 projects in the nine different categories of the awards. 15 agencies and advertisers have worked on the 65 pre-selected projects.
The jury's choice was guided by the specific conditions of each media type, which are all bound by both different limits and, at the same time, potential for creativity. The quality of the campaigns reflect the cooperation between advertisers and communications professionals, who worked together to find both the best balance and result.
The purpose of the Media Awards is to celebrate the best 'above the line' publicity campaigns created in Luxembourg over the past two years. Communications agencies and their clients have been able to take part in the competition organised in nine different categories, namely cross-media, digital, native advertising, OOH/DOOH, first campaign, press, B2B press, radio, and tv/cinema.
The radio, tv/cinema, press, digital, and OOH/DOOH categories will also be handed over to the public vote to be in contention for the Public's Choice Award. The ceremony will take place on 5 February 2020 in the Victor Hugo hall in Limpertsberg. Tickets can be purchased online and tables can be reserved for ten people or more.
The jury
Six individuals came together to designate the 2020 Media Awards nominees. The jury is made up of:
