A collision between five vehicles occurred on the A13 between Frisange and Hellange on Tuesday. The accident was most likely caused by the heavy rainfall and left three people lightly injured, according to preliminary information.
The motorway was closed off to traffic following the incident.
Several other accidents also took place between 2.30pm and 4pm on Luxembourg's roads. The Luxembourg Motoring Association (ACL) reported several of them to RTL, including one in Luxembourg City, another in Sandweiler, a collision in Contern and an accident at the German border which created traffic jams on the A1.
