According to police reports, the car came off the road and flipped over several times, leaving the driver with minor injuries.
Elsewhere, officers stopped a driver in Bissen at 4.30pm after he was observed driving erratically on the A7. The breathalyser test was positive and the driver’s licence was confiscated on the spot.
In Ettelbruck, police were notified of a driver who had crashed into a house on Rue des Romains at around 4am, before fleeing the scene. Both the driver and the damaged car were located a short time later. It transpired the suspect had driven whilst under the influence of alcohol, resulting in the withdrawal of his licence. In addition, the car was found to be uninsured, leading to officers confiscating the vehicle.
