The incident took place at 2pm on Friday afternoon in Luxembourg City, after a van crashed into a tram on the Place de Paris. A tram passenger fell over as a result of the impact, suffering minor injuries. The tram was also damaged in the crash, with scrapes down the sides and a broken window.
Police at the scene said there was traffic forming from the city centre, and advised motorists to avoid the area if possible.
