Luxembourg's firefighters have had a busy night and are doing their best to help everyone affected by the downpours of Wednesday.
However, CGDIS have stressed that that with many interventions in progress "all requests made to 112 cannot be responded to immediately" at this stage.
"Life threatening situations and the preservation of essential infrastructure come before everything" writes the CGDIS which asks those who can "put their vehicles in safety and protect their homes" should do so.
The emergency services ask that 112 only be called for vital emergencies, for rescue operations or for accidents and fires.
