The emergency services reported two accidents in Luxembourg on Wednesday evening, one of which involved a pedestrian who was knocked down by a car.

The accident occurred on Rue Charles Darwin shortly before 7pm. First responders were on the scene to assist the pedestrian, who was injured after being struck by the vehicle. Police and fire fighters were also on site.

At 8.15pm a second accident took place at the Biff roundabout, when a car crashed into a pole. The driver suffered injuries in the incident.
