For now, one spot has been filled in the Court's vacant roles. As a recap, March 2019 saw two members of the communications department resign, namely Monique Feidt and Alain Rousseau. Véronique Poujol, hired in 2016 as an adviser to Grand Duchess Maria Theresa, left the Court "by mutual agreement" in July.
After the months of resignations and departures amongst court, there has been a new appointment at the head of the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess Foundation. Lieutenant-Colonel Philippe Majerus, previously aide-de-camp in the Grand Duchess's team since 2013, will take up the role of director.

In addition to an esteemed military career, Majerus has helped coordinate social projects and events, notably the international Stand Speak Rise Up forum.
Mike van Kauvenbergh resigned from the role after only a year as director of the foundation.
