The man had already been caught driving his car on a number of occasions in the past, despite being subject to a driving ban. As the officers remembered that the driver had shown a tendency to be uncooperative in the past and also refused to step out of his car this time around, they decided to call for reinforcements.
Together, the police officers managed to convince the man to step out of his car. He was subsequently arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor's office and was presented to an examining magistrate on Wednesday morning. The car was seized.
