Local patrols were searching for a burglar in the Hesperange/Alzingen/Fentange area and asked the public to be vigilant. A patrol noticed a suspicious car, but the presumed suspects fled the scene.
Drivers were asked not to pick up any hitchhikers in that area, and suspicious people are to be reported to the police by calling 113. The search operation did not result in any arrests.
