Officers set up routine checkpoints in Ingeldorf, between Diekirch and Erpeldange, and in Fridhaff. Between 9.00 p.m. and 2.00 a.m. on Monday, they stopped a total of 285 motorists.
24 drivers tested positive for alcohol, out of whom ten received a warning and seven a fine.
