The police conducted 3,800 checks in the context of the safety campaign. 160 out of the 449 fines were awarded because of speeding.
In thirteen cases, motorcyclists also had two points revoked from their license. In about as many cases, speed infringements were significant enough for police to alert the prosecutor’s office. In half a dozen cases, police revoked the driving license at the scene.
Police also issued fines for invalid registration papers, technical flaws, and lack of protective clothing.
