Around 6.15 p.m., a patrol noticed a reckless driver on Rocade de Bonnevoie. They subsequently stopped the car and determined via test that the driver was dunk. The license was revoked.
An hour later, another driver ignored a road sign and drove onto the prohibited Place de la Gare. After driving in circles, the car finally came to a halt while still on the square. When officers arrived, they found that both the driver and passenger were drunk. The man behind the wheel refused to take a test, meaning the officers informed him that he will receive a driving ban. The man then lost his temper and attacked the officers at the scene together with the passenger. However, they were immobilised and taken to the station to sober up.
Around 8 p.m., a police patrol witnessed a drug deal in Avenue de la Liberté. The officers were able to detain one buyer at the scene, and another close by who had already begun using the prohibited substance. The presumed dealer managed to break free when the police wanted to put on handcuffs, but was arrested again soon after. A significant amount of cash money was confiscated, as well as a mobile phone. The culprit had to appear before an examining magistrate on Monday morning and was subsequently brought to the Schrassig prison.
Finally, shortly before 8.25 p.m., a drunk driver crashed his car into a wall in rue F.W. Raiffaisen in Luxembourg City. He did not suffer any injuries. Since the alcohol test came back positive, his license was revoked and he received a provisional driving ban.
