The police officers were able to identify the man on the spot, as well as two other suspected persons in the area of some drug users.
The three were taken to the police station for further investigation, where the officers were able to take drugs from two of the three. In total, two bags of hashish, a bale of cocaine and another 14.6 grams of hashish were seized.
Because none of the persons could prove by means of documents that they were in the country legally, the competent section of the police and the competent administration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were informed.
The main suspect was arrested on the order of the public prosecutors’ office and presented himself before the investigating judge on Friday. The other two men were fined.
