The teacher had taken indecent photos of children and allegedly touched them under the pretence of "looking for ticks".
While the defendant denied having touched his victims, he admitted to photographing and filming young girls' private areas.
He also maintained that he "caused no harm" to the young girls who fell victim to his behaviour.
The prosecution's reasoning behind their demand for a tough sentence is the lack of introspection displayed by the man. During the trial, the defendant refused to acknowledge that his actions were sexual in nature and motivation.
The incidents took place over more than a decade, between 2003 and 2015. The man had stored seven videos and about 450 indecent photos on several drives.
The former teacher will be sentenced on 21 February.
