2021-2025Radio Ara and Ministry for Communications and Media sign new convention

The official statement notes the importance of having a diverse and independent media landscape in Luxembourg. The financial support that the Radio station is set to receive will however be linked to a number of conditions:

• having a programme that represents the social, cultural, and artistic face of the country
• addressing a diverse audience in terms of age, culture, society, and language
• contributing to the intercultural dialogue
• creating media-related workshops
• encouraging volunteer participation
• being respectful of journalistic practices and ethics

Minister Bettel congratulated members of the radio station for their achievements of the last year, highlighting especially the programmes that contributed to the fight against the pandemic.
