
The motorcyclist suffered injuries during the accident and needed to be treated at the hospital. A subsequent investigation by the police showed that the man did not have a valid driving license and was in fact a repeat offender.
Officers thus confiscated the motorcycle and arrested the man by order of the prosecutor's office.
Around 10pm, the police were alerted to a man causing a ruckus in the Gare district in Luxembourg City. Officers quickly determined that the man did not have a residence permit after he tried identifying himself with a French asylum application.
Furthermore, the man had already received an entry ban for the Grand Duchy prior to the incident on Saturday. Officers thus arrested the agitator by order of the prosecutor's office.
The police further conveyed that during the night from Saturday to Sunday, there were 40 incidents of noise disturbances, as well as a few violent disputes and brawls.
