Municipality of FeulenReplacements for two former council members sought in by-election

Today, residents of Feulen can vote in a municipal by-election to decide over who will replace two former council members.

Around 2,000 people live in the municipality of Feulen, which is located between Ettelbruck and Mertzig. One of the council members recently moved away from Feulen, while another decided to step back due to health reasons.

Six individuals decided to run in today’s by-election: Michel Goethals, Yannick Jacques, Thérèse Kohn, Charles René Ries, Flore Schank, and Charel Wagner. Election offices will be open until 6.00 p.m.

The Feulen municipal council is currently made up of the following seven members: Mayor Fernand Mergen, Alderman Alain Hansen, Alderman Daniel Wilmes, Tanja Bindels-Braun, Guy Arend, Thomas Pirsch, and Georges Hentges.

Christianne Mergen and Miriam Correia were the ones who recently left the council.
