In their statement, OGBL mentions two companies in particular, namely Brink’s Security and Dussmann Security. Both of these companies were currently demanding that their employees work 12 hours per day and 60 hours per week. The trade union points out that this was on top of the already hard work and bad pay these people received.

OGBL strictly opposes this decision as there were alternative methods to guarantee this service. The trade union stated that they had also informed the Ministry of Labour of their criticism but had not received an answer so far.

Among other things, OGBL is demanding a bonus as well as an increase of salaries in the sector of security services in the long term.
