Unknown culprits broke open a terrace door in Rue de Diekirch in Helmsange between 8.30am and 6.10pm on Monday. Several valuables were stolen.
Between 8am and 7.15pm, another break-in occurred in Rue de Sanem in Niedercorn. The burglars stole a gaming console and several pieces of jewellery.
At around 1.40am, a resident in ‘An der Olek’ in Moersdorf noticed two suspicious individuals on his property. They attempted to enter the house but fled when the owner spotted them. The latter chased after them but lost sight of them when they split up during the escape.
In Rodange, a bicycle was stolen from a basement at around 6am on Tuesday morning. Shortly after the incident, the police received reports of three suspicious individuals that allegedly escaped in a car. Preliminary investigations were, however, unsuccessful.
In each case, a report was written and an investigation was launched. The forensic police were called in to secure the evidence.
