Shortly after 5.00 p.m., an empty house caught fire in Route de Trèves in Findel. The fire brigades from Sandweiler and Luxembourg City were called to the scene to extinguish the flames. Around 9.30 p.m., a tree caught fire in Eisenbach. Furthermore, three cars were reportedly in flames in Rue du Rollingergrund Luxembourg City.
Emergency services were also called into action after a pedestrian was hit by a car on Boulevard Hubert Clement in Esch-sur-Alzette. The victim suffered light injuries. Shortly after, another accident occurred in the city when two cars crashed into each other at Place Benelux.
At 6.30 p.m., two vehicles were involved in a collision in Rue du Nord in Rambrouch. Two people suffered minor injuries in the process.
