At 2am this morning, police encountered a speeding driver between Reckange and Brouch. After stopping the motorist, officers suspected that the man was drunk, which was confirmed in a subsequent alcohol test. Officers thus issued a fine and revoked the driving license.
Police were also forced to revoke licenses for drink driving in Esch-sur-Alzette and Wormeldange overnight.
In Sandweiler, Moutfort, and Luxembourg City, burglaries took place on Saturday.
