A number of people decided to drink and drive on Saturday evening.

Around 4am, a driver crashed into a stationed vehicle in Route de Thionville in Hesperange. Both vehicles were significantly damaged in the process, but nobody suffered any injuries. A third vehicle was also damaged during the incident. The license of the responsible driver was revoked.

Two vehicles collided shortly after midnight in Rue de la Synagogue in Ettelbruck. A woman damaged another car while trying to park her vehicle. Officers determined that her alcohol level was almost three times higher than permitted and thus revoked her license. One person was injured during the incident.

Another nightly accident took place in Garnich. A driver lost control over her vehicle and crashed into an on-coming car. She was lightly injured in the process and brought to a hospital for treatment. Due to high alcohol levels, her license was revoked and she received a €145 fine. Both cars had to be towed after the accident.

The police further conveyed that licenses were also revoked in Dudelange, Leudelange, Esch-sur-Alzette, and Luxembourg City on Saturday.
