Both types of petrol will increase by 7 cents per litre. From August 12, a litre of 95-octane petrol will therefore cost €1.689, while a litre of 98-octane petrol will rise to €1.844.
Diesel will increase by 10.6 cents per litre, bringing the price to €1.904 from Wednesday. The biggest increase, however, will be for heating oil, which will rise by 11 cents per litre to €1.399.
