Road safetySix injured in five traffic accidents between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning

Emergency services from the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) responded to a series of incidents over the past few hours, with six people injured in five separate accidents.

A person suffered injuries shortly after 5pm on Tuesday when they fell from an electric scooter on the road between Bivange and Roeser. Rescue teams from Roeser and Bettembourg were dispatched to the scene.

At around 5.15pm, emergency services from Kehlen and Mamer were called to the CR102 following a collision between two cars. One individual was injured in the crash.

Two more people were hurt early on Wednesday morning, at around 4.10am, in a collision between two vehicles on the road between Keispelt and Schoenfels. Paramedics from Kopstal and Mersch attended the scene.

Later, at about 6.12am, the Nordstad rescue team was called to Kanalstrooss in Ettelbruck after a car struck a lamppost, leaving one person injured.

Shortly before 7am, the same Nordstad team, together with firefighters from Feulen, responded to the CR345 between Oberfeulen and Ettelbruck, where a car had overturned. One person was injured in the incident.
